As this past year has really put health on the forefront for many, now, more than ever is the time to keep our bodies strong and healthy for ourselves and loved ones. Building a strong immune system is all about making daily, smart, yet simple lifestyle choices.
As we are entering 2021, how many of us could use a recharge? I know I certainly could! Rest and recovery for our mental, physical and spiritual well-being is so important for us to live optimally. We all want to live as our best versions of ourselves, right?
Maybe we think bedtime routines are for children or something we followed when we were young. A bedtime for a 50 year old?....hmmm haven’t thought much about this idea? Well, I can assure you, it’s important and incredibly helpful for our wellbeing’s to get a restful sleep each night. And as you know, a restful sleep carries you into a productive and motivated state to tackle and enjoy the day ahead. Without proper, deep sleep, our daily tasks and routines become compromised as we do not have enough energy to dedicate to the activities of the day. Well, I have some excellent news! We can change this! You can change this!
As we live each day, we strive for health and happiness. Sometimes that means we need to take a look at our current ways of living and make some adjustments where necessary. For many of us, a detox is a wonderful solution. And, no, I am not talking about a physical body detox, I’m talking about a home detox! There’s no better time than now.

This year has called for lots of zoom meetings, laptop commitments and virtual everything! For many of us we strive for health and some may be on a journey to become healthier. Many of us are active individuals as it is and sitting at a desk job often presents challenge. For others, we don’t mind working a desk job, but also care about our health. No matter what your thoughts are on this, there are plenty of ways to be healthy when working your desk job!
Lub-Dubb, Lub-Dubb, Lub-Dubb…..hear that? Your small, but mighty heart is beating to keep you alive, carrying oxygen throughout the body, beating at a rhythm and speed unique to you. If one small functioning of this vital organ goes wrong, our lives could be in incredible danger, which is why it’s important to keep our incredible organs as healthy as possible.
Well this isn’t an easy topic to address or digest, at least for most of us. Both men and women struggle with really loving ourselves fully. Maybe we do like or admire a few things about ourselves, even if it’s just the shape of your lips or toes! For others, it may be painful to find anything at all we like. Either way, I encourage you to keep reading.
With many of us are spending more time together at home these days, it’s a gift and opportunity to embrace. In my house we are making it a mission to lead a healthy family life together. There’s no better time than now! Your kids will always look to you, so set the example for their futures, as the things you all do together now, may be traditions or activities they want to incorporate in their future families.
